Gather Estate in Mesa was the setting. The question driving every decision: what does it look like when grounded desert warmth meets refined romantic design, without either one losing its edge? The result was Mocha Mousse. A palette with presence. A feeling that holds. Arizona Bride thought so too the shoot ran in their Fall/Winter 2025 issue.

The Palette

Mocha anchored everything! The linens, the textures, the weight of the space. Blush and ivory florals pulled in the softness without diluting the depth, catching Arizona’s natural light in a way that read as both warm and editorial. It photographs well at golden hour. It holds up just as well in person. That balance was the point.

The Design

The ceremony installation led with movement – draped fabric that softened the altar without making it feel less structured. Romance and architecture, held at once. The tablescapes extended that same logic into the reception: textured linens, layered floral focal points, custom cocktails, and a cake that closed the design loop rather than existing separately from it.

The Venue

Gather Estate holds a strong design without competing with it – which is exactly what a well-chosen venue should do. The architecture gives the space character.
